Ags Connolly for second Celtic Music Radio House Concert

Following the success of Celtic Music Radio's first House Concert at their Kinning Park base in Glasgow, the station have lined up a follow up featuring Oxfordshire's Ags Connolly.
Ags is one of the most traditional Country singer songwriters in the UK- Country is the simplest description, but Ags is a proud supporter of the ‘Ameripolitan’ movement, which supports new music with a traditional roots influence.
Having attempted to write songs for years, Ags found the confidence to take it seriously after attending a workshop with Nashville super-musician Darrell Scott.
As well as regular headline shows, Ags has opened for artists such as Rosanne Cash and Corb Lund and has also undertaken a southern-states US tour with a full band.
Ags’ debut album ‘How About Now’ was released in February 2014, receiving rave reviews including being named ‘Album of the Month’ in Country Music People magazine who described him as “the closest we’ve ever come to an English Willie Nelson”.  We see him more as a British Dale Watson !
