Blake & Miranda split
Following months of denying online rumors regarding their marriage, representatives for Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert have confirmed the couple are divorcing after four years.
“This is not the future we envisioned,” the couple said in a statement. “And it is with heavy hearts that we move forward separately. We are real people, with real lives, with real families, friends and colleagues. Therefore, we kindly ask for privacy and compassion concerning this very personal matter.”
Divorce documents were filed in Oklahoma, and the couple have been noticeably absent from the public eye together through the last several months.
Shelton and Lambert first met in 2005 and married in her home state of Texas in 2011 during a ceremony attended by close friends and family.
