The Irish are coming

With St Patricks Day upon us, time to note that a few Irish acts are heading our way in the coming months. The full listing can be found on our forthcoming concerts page , but we've highlighted the main gigs in the central belt here.
Foster & Allen are first up, with a lengthy tour which includes Motherwell on April 4th, Falkirk 6th, and Glenrothes on the 8th. , who have April dates in Greenock, Arbroath and Kilmarnock.
On their tale are Nathan Carter and Lisa Stanley
Mike Denver will play Falkirk Town Hall on April 27th, as well as hosting a whole weekend at Glasgow's Crowne Plaza Hotel. Supporting Mike is Caitlin, who has been on the scene for over a decade, but only now getting recognition through the various Irish music programmes on Showcase TV.
Michael English is back with a new album, and will play Dundee, Ayr, Inverurie & Langholm in May, with support from Louise Morrissey.
John C King plays Glasgow's Grand Ole Opry on April 4th , and dont forget Daniel O'Donnell playing Edinburgh's Usher Hall on April 8th and Aberdeen Music Hall on May 12th.
To tie in with St Patrick's weekend, Celtic Country this Sunday is an all Irish affair, with chat with Aiden Quinn, son of Philomena Begley, and featured album from Michael English. Tune in Sunday 12 Noon on www.celticmusicradio.net
