Spiers & Walker to Dunfermline
With around eighty years of performance experience behind them Fraser Spiers and Eddie Walker still produce a fresh exciting show every time they play. Eddie Walker is considered one of the great guitar pickers of his generation, playing
main stage at Cambridge Folk Festival and enjoying a hugely successful
partnership with John James in Carolina Shout alongside his solo career. Fraser
Speirs is now recognised internationally as a master of the harmonica thanks to
touring spells with Carol Kidd’s Band, Tam White’s Shoestring Band and
Paolo Nutini. They now perform a blend of blues, folk blues, country and
old time encompassing most of the repertoire which we now recognize as
‘Americana’.
