Taking Hugo on the road
BBC Radio Ulster listeners may be used to driving along to the sounds of Hugo Duncan’s popular afternoon programme, but they can now enjoy hearing the presenter keep them on the right path any time of the day by downloading the unique voice of Uncle Hugo to their SatNav system.
Fans of Hugo can enjoy being called “eejits” when they take a wrong turn, being advised not to drive over the top of roundabouts and ending their journey with a “We’re here! Skiddly-aye-dee-diddle-deddle-dum”, among other things.
Step by step instructions on how to download Hugo’s voice to SatNav devices can be found on the BBC Radio Ulster website. http://www.bbc.co.uk/radioulster/
