Celtic Connections
As ever, Country music figures prominantly at Celtic Connections, the huge Glasgow festival which is held each January. Look out for Raul Malo,Holly Williams, Kim Richey, a Texas Songwriters show, and a tribute to bluegrass record label, Rounder.
