Shaver in shooting attack
Billy Joe Shaver , whose new Greatest Hits album was released in America this week, turned himself in at a Waco, Texas, jail on Tuesday after he shot a man at an area bar on Saturday night (March 31). After posting $50,000 bond, Shaver was released. Shaver claims that he acted in self-defense after an aggressive drunk man followed Shaver out of the bar with a knife. The man was reportedly shot in the cheek. Shaver's charges included assault and a weapons charge.
