No longer new from Nashville!

Three of the four Nashville acts who have visited Scotland as part of the CMA's New From Nashville promotion during the past 19 months, have been dropped from the label.
Former Epic artist Jon Randall and former Columbia artist Jessi Alexander, who both visited Glasgow in 2005, are the latest victims of the merger between Sony & BMG. The artists, who are a couple, had been working on a duets album together.
They join this years New From Nashville artist Jace Everett, who has lost his deal, as has other new artists, Susan Haynes, Brice Long and Jamey Johnson.
Jon Randell will be back in Scotland on August 4th, supporting Emmylou Harris at The Glasgow Royal Concert Hall.
