Two more to Hillbilly Heaven
The legendary BUCK OWENS passed away last weekend. Famous for his hits like "Tiger By The Tail", "Loves Gonna Live Here" and "Together Again", Buck was credited with creating "The Bakersfield Sound". He notched up 84 hits, including 21 No.1 Country hits, including his "Streets Of Bakersfield" duet with Dwight Yoakam in 1988.
Fellow Texan, CINDY WALKER, one of Country music's highest regarded songwriters also passed away this week. Many of the songs that she wrote, including "Take Me In Your Arms & Hold Me" and "You Dont Know Me", are covered on Willie Nelson's new CD.
